Shipping containers should first follow the principle of "heavy not light" and be neatly stacked to avoid tipping over of the goods as much as possible. Amazon requires each box with a gross weight exceeding 50 pounds (22.7 kilograms) to be labeled with a "TEAM LIFT" label, and each box with a gross weight exceeding 100 pounds must be labeled with a "MECH LIFT" label. For example, OAK3 warehouse does not accept goods with a single weight exceeding 40 pounds (18 kilograms). SNA4 warehouse does not accept goods with a single weight exceeding 50 pounds (22.6 kilograms).
The packaging box should be as solid as possible or the inside should be reinforced with molded foam. Amazon will basically refuse to accept the products with deformed cartons. If the goods are rejected due to packaging issues, there will be expensive processing costs such as pressing and waiting fees, return freight, unloading fees, packaging replacement fees, storage fees, etc., which usually exceed the value of the goods. Even if the goods are discarded, there will be disposal costs. Therefore, most Amazon sellers have to choose to abandon their products due to their refusal to accept low value and small quantity.
Amazon may refuse to accept or hold containers on the grounds that the goods are loaded too tightly and cannot be unloaded, the loading is too loose and prone to collapse, and the unloading time is too long due to the large number of items. During the loading process, there should be room for looseness on both the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the entire cabinet, especially when sealing the two rows of doors. The upper part must be left empty. Amazon warehouses and most overseas warehouses generally require that the upper part of the goods near the door be stacked in a trapezoidal shape (Ramp), with a slope of at least 8 inches (20 centimeters) reserved to facilitate on-site unloading workers to avoid the door beam for operation.
Leave a minimum distance of 3 inches (7.6 centimeters) between the edge of the cardboard box and the inner wall of the cabinet, and it is best to leave a thumb wide gap between the boxes to prevent them from getting stuck after long-distance transportation bumps. Optimize as much as possible to avoid tipping over. A distance of 8 inches (20 centimeters) should also be reserved between the edge of the last row of boxes and the cabinet door to prevent entry into the dock plate. If conditions permit, a blocking rod can be used to secure or an inflatable bag can be used to ensure stability, and non-metallic straps or safety nets can be used to prevent goods from shifting.
