To make profits on Amazon in the United States, high-quality international logistics is particularly important. Nowadays, an increasing number of sellers are gradually starting to do Amazon FBA in the United States. Choosing and using FBA correctly also has many benefits, but sellers often encounter many problems during the use process, many of which appear to be small problems, which leads to many FBA sellers not thinking about these aspects. However, these small problems are likely to affect the overall operation and management of Amazon in the United States.
The following are some issues that have been sorted out by the editor based on past customer feedback that have affected the process of Amazon FBA warehousing in the United States, as well as the correct operation methods:
1. Preventing confusion in shipping orders
Correct and reasonable operation: The packaging of goods shipped by Amazon FBA in the United States cannot save the previous shipment order to prevent confusion;
Incorrect behavior: The shipping order for the packaged goods that have already been shipped is mixed with the shipping order for goods that have not yet been shipped, resulting in confusion in the shipping order.
2. Check the quantity of goods before entering the warehouse
Correct and reasonable operation: Before entering the warehouse, the seller must check whether the shipped quantity of the goods is the same as the one reported online;
Incorrect behavior: Sellers do not check the quantity of goods shipped and randomly fill in the report. Although most sellers do not engage in such irresponsible actions, there are some new sellers who may experience this situation when they first ship due to their unfamiliarity with the business.
3. The goods need to be labeled according to their weight
Correct and reasonable operation: Stick the container label under the shipper's label, and control the weight of the transported goods within 50 pounds;
Incorrect behavior: indiscriminately labeling products regardless of their weight, and transporting products weighing over 50 pounds without labeling. If the weight exceeds the Amazon FBA regulations and is not labeled, it cannot be stored in the warehouse. It needs to be transported to an overseas warehouse for label replacement and then shipped to Amazon, which increases the operating costs.
4. Labeling of product packaging
Correct and reasonable operation: According to the standard PDF file presented by Amazon in the United States, complete the label production to ensure that every product packaging is labeled;
Incorrect behavior: Sticking packaging labels to potentially damaged connections can affect scanning.
5. Print product labels
Correct and reasonable operation: Select paper of suitable size and print with a laser printer to ensure that FBA labels are clear, clean, and easy to scan;
Incorrect behavior: When using an inkjet printer to print product or packaging labels, FBA labels are easily blurry and dirty. Blurred FBA labels can cause unsuccessful scanning and prevent entry into the warehouse. Just like not attaching overweight labels on them, they need to be re labeled.
6. Clarify product name and attributes
Correct and reasonable operation: clarify that the name and attributes of the product (package) match the label affixed;
Incorrect behavior: The shipment quantity is greater than the quantity reported online.
7. Packaging products with transparent tape
Correct and reasonable operation: Use transparent tape without color to complete the packaging, and do not cover up the information content such as labels;
Incorrect behavior: Using colored or excessively dark tape packaging to cover the label may result in unsuccessful scanning when entering the Amazon warehouse.
8. Different waybill numbers are shipped separately
Correct and reasonable operation: Select a carrier company that can show tracking numbers, so that sellers can track the shipping status of the goods;
Incorrect behavior: Combining goods with different waybills for transportation, resulting in inconsistent quantity of goods shipped.
